I have my own motto: “When your body says it can’t go anymore, push a little further to show him who’s in charge” and I learned through experience that it’s just a bunch of words. We can do so much more and better than so many others but we must acknowledge we’re human, and mortal… even though we deny it… rest, recover and soon you’ll be winning races again 🙂

When you get back on your bike, try moving your saddle BACK. It worked for me and others. Best of luck for the future. Jeff

I remember the broken seat clamp from your first race (I watched the movie) and cringed at the thought of possible knee damage. Be patient and heal up even if it means skipping a year. You need your pistons for other things besides cycling too!

    Cheers!

I understand how that must feel. ‘It’s how we get back up again that defines us’. You have a mental strength that you must now employ into getting yourself better, standing up straight, taking a deep breath ready for the challenge. You know this already and you will prevail. Regards and best wishes for your recovery
From one of the crazies to another (though Im not quite in your league!)

‘Mind over body’ ? Your courage is admirable, but mind & skeleton should be pals not adversaries. They are a part of the same miracle that is ‘us’. Anyhow, I’ve successfully employed a product called ‘Sea Mussel Plus’, produced in Vermont, to heal joint issues. Happy pedals forever….
